jump ft. lauderdale beach

I had some time between work and swim practice so I stopped by the beach. This part of the beach is mostly empty as it's lined with residential buildings. The water was very rough and the wind was blowing hard, it was very beautiful. Florida has finally entered into fall. It happened over night but the weather is wonderful. It's possible to go outside without dying of a heatstroke. To get this shot I used the timer along with propping my camera up on my flip flops on a dune.
